During my service over the past two decades across various CAP councils and committees, I have witnessed firsthand the power of our 20,000 members when we speak with one voice. If elected as your President-elect, my leadership will be anchored on three core pillars:
Unwavering advocacy and value recognition - We must continue to expand our legislative and regulatory advocacy at both the state and federal levels. Pathologists deserve fair reimbursement and a seat at the table where Medicare and laboratory regulations are decided. I will work tirelessly to ensure policymakers understand that pathology and laboratory medicine is the bedrock of precision medicine.
Navigating the digital and AI revolution - The integration of artificial intelligence, digital pathology, and advanced molecular diagnostics is no longer a future concept; it is our current reality. I am committed to expanding CAP’s proficiency testing and educational frameworks to ensure every member is empowered, equipped, and protected as we adopt these transformative tools. We must shape the standards of AI in medicine, not let them shape us.
Supporting members across all practice settings - Whether you practice in a community practice, a large academic medical center, or a private independent laboratory, the CAP must serve your specific clinical and economic needs. I will champion initiatives that reduce administrative burdens, combat burnout, and foster an inclusive environment that inspires the next generation of pathologists.
WHY VOTE FOR ME
I am a full time practicing AP/CP pathologist in a community hospital setting where I am an owner in both CPG and our independent AP/cytology lab, Celligent Diagnostics. My CAP background, including 2 terms as Secretary/Treasurer, business experience and MBA give me the breadth and depth to serve effectively as President.

There are a number of challenges and opportunities facing pathology. The CAP must strengthen its brand, prepare for a changing future, and develop a connected relationship with the members.
